Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Onwynd platform you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Onwynd Health Limited (CAC No. 9571661), a company registered under the laws of Nigeria.
Description of Services
Onwynd provides an AI-powered mental wellness platform including:
- Doctor Onwynd — AI-assisted mental health check-ins and validated self-assessments
- Therapist booking and live session management
- Mood tracking, progress insights, and wellness tools
- Community and peer support features
- Bloom hub physical wellness spaces (where available)
Important. Onwynd's services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In a mental health emergency please contact emergency services or a licensed professional immediately.
Eligibility
To use Onwynd you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age for independent access (or 16+ via an institutional route)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Not be prohibited from using our services under any applicable law
User Accounts
Account Creation
You must create an account to access our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Security
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach at hello@onwynd.com.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform.
Prohibited Conduct
When using Onwynd you agree not to:
- Use our services for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or spam
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or our staff
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent security features
- Provide false information during registration or booking
- Share your account credentials with third parties
Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, AI models, assessment tools, and software are owned by Onwynd Health Limited and protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Limitations of Liability
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Onwynd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice for:
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions
- Fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity
- Failure to pay applicable fees
- Extended periods of inactivity (12+ months)
You may terminate your account at any time via Account Settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
